Our Story

Battery Bin began with a simple moment of awareness — I was about to throw away a used battery when I paused and wondered just how harmful it might be. That small hesitation led me to uncover the massive environmental impact of e-waste, especially when batteries are discarded improperly.

The idea stayed with me until I finally decided to act. At first, I had doubts. I had never led anything like this before, and I wasn’t sure if anyone would support it — or if I’d even find a recycling partner. After countless emails, one company responded. That single reply gave me the push to begin.

Today, Battery Bin is a student-led initiative working with schools, businesses, and NGOs across the Delhi NCR region. We make battery disposal simple and responsible — keeping harmful chemicals out of landfills and protecting the environment.

Having established a strong presence across NCR, our next goal is to expand further and make safe battery disposal accessible on a much larger scale.
